Pattern instructions
Sole
Chain 8. Round 1: 2 sc in second chain from hook, sc in next 5 chains, 3 sc in last chain, sc in next 5 chains along the other side, 2 sc in last stitch, join (18 sc). Using bulky yarn here means each round finishes in under a minute, which is most of what makes the 15-minute claim realistic.
Sides and upper
Round 2: sc in each stitch around (18). Round 3: sc in each stitch around, decreasing 2 stitches evenly to shape the upper directly, with no separate shaping round.
Cuff
Work 1 round of back-loop-only sc for a minimal cuff, then fasten off and weave in ends. Skipping a second cuff round is the main time-saver versus my other bootie patterns.
